Rev. Kenneth Giles is a native Chicagoan and product of the public school system. He graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1982, exemplifying leadership qualities even then; he served as senior class President. He attended North Carolina A & T University and Illinois School of Commerce, where he graduated with honors as an Accounting major. He furthered his religious studies and currently has a Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies and Theology. He also graduated with honors and served as the President of the graduating class of Chicago Baptist Institute.
He accepted Christ at the early age of seven under the leadership of Rev. Earl D. Boggs at the Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was baptized on April 4, 1971.
In 1980 Rev. Giles united with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Donald L. Parson. It was there that he accepted his call to ministry, and preached his first sermon on April 18, 1982. He was licensed, and on February 11, 1990, he was ordained into the gospel ministry.
Rev. Giles has nurtured his calling to preach the gospel through intensive study of the Word. In 1991, he became a charter member of Logos Baptist Assembly also under the leadership of Dr. Donald L. Parson. He served faithfully as an associate minister, radio announcer,
